This can be achieved by opening the game console and using the command just like before, this time using “ cvaradd pm_nobob 1” instead.

The last method and ultimately the one that helped me the most was to disable the camera swaying.

This is purely a visual adjustment and doesn’t affect any achievements, don’t worry. Once the game console opened on top of your screen, copy + paste this command “ cvaradd hands_fovscale 1.0” (without the “”) to make the in-game hand + weapon smaller. The last key might change depending on your keyboard layout, for my German QUERTZ layout I had to press ^ instead of ~ for example. To change this, you’ll need to open the game console: Once you’re in-game, press Ctrl + Alt + ~ (without the + in between, of course) to open it.

Another method would be to adjust the hand & weapon scaling on your screen.

The easiest solution would be to increase the FOV (field of view) using the in-game settings to the maximum amount.

That way, if you run into similar trouble on your potential playthrough, you might be able to get rid of it like I did. Thankfully, there are also various solutions to this problem, of which I want to name a few here.
